File Parade is making our catalog of PAD files available for a fee. Our catalog currently contains 31,574 PAD file URLs. In addition, our domain blacklist can also be purchased.

Note that there is a premium on the price we charge for our PAD list due to the incalculable number of hours spent refining it. The following list describes the type of things we've done with our list.

• Ran many hundreds of different scans against our initial catalog, looking to eliminate non-software, pointless software (intended to build links to non-software sites), and duplicate submissions.
• We re-poll our entire catalog approximately every month.
• All new submissions are manually reviewed. While we do not currently download and install these submissions, a real, live person reviews the data, examines the links, and rejects or blacklists all submissions not meeting our standards.
• Scanned all links within each PAD file using code that works with the Google SafeBrowsing API. This API tracks URLs reported to be associated with malware or phishing.
• Performed antivirus scan on each PAD file download using multiple antivirus programs. (Note that, as of this writing, not all PADs have yet been scanned as described.)
• Submissions deamed worthy of being blacklisted cause our software to automatically reject all submissions coming from the same domain.

DISCLAIMER: While we strongly believe in the steps we take with our PAD list, none of these measures are perfect. As a result, it should be assumed that some bogus software will be included in our list. Due to the nature of the Internet and this type of content, we believe the best that can be done is to minimize the number of unwanted submissions in such a list.
